The children have had an amazing time during Science Week and especially enjoyed learning all about animal adaptations with Mad Science. The children discovered how to create a cast of an animal footprint using Plaster of Paris and discussed how each animal is adapted to live in its environment. They also looked at their own handprint using the playdough and compared it to the animal footprints to find any similarities or differences. They then looked closely at a variety of different habitats and sorted the animals into each habitat, working out which habitat the animal would be most camouflaged.
