On Tuesday, we were very fortunate to be able to visit the Literacy Festival in Cardiff. We met Guy Parker-Rees, illustrator of the book Giraffes Can't Dance. He talked about how he experiments with different ideas for books and he explained how he came to be an illustrator. The children had a go at drawing their own characters then helped Guy to come up with some ideas for his own picture.
