The Fire Service came to visit
We were very pleased to welcome The Fire Service to school yesterday afternoon. We had a presentation about keeping safe and what to do if we see a fire. The Firefighters were very impressed with the children's sensible answers!
One thing the Firefighters asked the children to do was to learn their address - please practise this at home- you never know when it may be needed.
The children were also taught a special rhyme:
Matches, matches never touch
They can hurt you very much
We were also very proud that one of the Firefighters was a former pupil, Mr Josh Logan- it was great to see him again!

Thank you for the cardboard tubes! It was an afternoon of cutting, sticking, painting and negotiating today!!
We had so much fun today making our models. The brief was to work together on their design and make their model as a team. What a fantastic job they did!
