Cherry class working hard on 'money'!!

Children always find 'money' a tricky topic- please practise at home !
Playing shop, finding coins and saying how much they are worth are helpful activities.

We love sharing and reading books in Cherry class...

The body book has been a firm favourite after learning about the skeleton!

Learning about our skeletons...

This week we heard the story of Funnybones by Janet and Allan Ahlberg.  We went on to learn about the bones in our bodies that make up our skeleton. Below is a link to a website with an interactive resource which the children might enjoy. Some of it may be a little difficult but is fun and informative!

Have a look at our Autumn tree pictures. .....

Year 2 children used oil pastels to create the colours of Autumn and then painted tree trunks and branches onto acetates.....

Year 1 children used cotton buds dipped in paint to create leaves on an Autumnal tree....

P.C. Rob Thomas came to talk to Cherry Class.....

P.C Rob came to tell us all about his work as a policeman.  He said it is very important that all the children in Cherry class learn their address..... Can we do this by half term? Stickers for those who can!
